Join us on April 27th for an evening ‘In Conversation With’ journalist and author Dylan Jones OBE and Fashion Designer Alice Temperley MBE.
Mark will create a special menu for the evening of local spring ingredients, and of course Julian Temperley’s produce. Between courses Dylan and Alice will share stories of their lives in journalism and fashion.

Dylan Jones
After 20 years at GQ magazine, former editor Dylan will be talking about the exciting projects he is currently working on including new books, TV and consultancies. Dylan is also known for the numerous books he has written covering music and bands of the 80s and 90s as well as the iconic David Bowie.
Dylan’s new book, a collaboration with Paul Weller, is released in June this year. Magic – a Journal of Song presents 130 of Weller’s finest lyrics to date, accompanied by an illuminating commentary which sees him give unprecedented insight into his life and lyrics, as told to Dylan

Alice Temperley
Alice Temperley MBE founded her eponymous label Temperley London in 2000, a year after graduating from the Royal College of Art. Alice continues to head up the creative direction of this British independent brand, now in its twentieth year of business. The brand currently operates standalone stores, including its flagship store in Somerset which houses a Bridal Boutique, as well as stores in Chelsea, Marbella, Dubai and a Bridal Showroom in Fitzrovia.
Alice is a member of the British Fashion Council Advisory Board as well as being involved with several charitable organisations, including recently becoming Ambassador for Women for Women International. In 2018, Temperley London was awarded the Butterfly Mark by Positive Luxury for a commitment to responsible practices across innovation, social good, environment, philanthropy, and governance.
