First opened in October 2009, the original Mark’s Bar beneath HIX Soho was a hit from the word go and immediately created a stir in London’s west end….was it a Speakeasy, was it a Member’s Bar? It was neither, but the queues around the block spoke for themselves, resulting in further Mark’s Bars opening or ‘pop up’ across London over the last decade with Soho and Bankside the established stalwarts.

Often lauded as one of the best cocktail bars in London Mark Hix’s Mark’s Bar was a favourite hang-out for many …and then Covid arrived.
